The New “KING” of Fishing Lines, SUFIX |

After 32
years of fishing, I have used every possible line I could have tried, from
seventy-five cents on sale to $24 spools. All the different brands, styles, pound test,
you name it! For the longest time I
was a Stren man, then around the late 1980’s I
became a dedicated Trilene man, and remained one
until 2005. |
|
|
|
That is
when I bought my first spool of Sufix at Dick’s
Sporting Goods here in |
|
|
|
So I
bought more and used it, and told and showed all my fishing friends this
line. I since have replaced all my
reels now with different pound test, colors, and styles of Sufix line. I
matched the line and reel to the species of fishing it will be doing. I am still so impressed with this line that every
time I go out fishing I constantly promote Sufix to
anyone that will listen to me. |
|
|
|
Now, in
February of 2006 Sufix became one of our sponsors,
so you might say, “Of course he is promoting them.” But see, I also promoted them when I was
buying their line like everyone else, I believe in
it that much! The strength never stops
surprising me. I even converted a big
time muskie fisherman that swore on his Trilene line. I
gave him a spool of Sufix and told him to try it, just
to trust me on this. He happened to be
working for a boat dealer at the 2006 Tracy Byrd Outdoor Expo in

Pete has
been using Sufix since they became a sponsor and
was a believer after his first time out with it. He had gotten a snag in an earlier trip on 10-pound
test, and pulled his knot out instead of breaking the line. This day, he had 20-pound Sufix Elite on his Okuma baitcaster
(another fine sponsor of Reel Fishing with Gunner) and fought for 42 minutes to
reel in what he thought was going to be a 100-pound flathead catfish. So, in the |

Pete went
to the car and got him fixed up with 20-pound Sufix
for his reel, and he stated that he WILL be replacing all of his reels with Sufix and spreading the word to everyone he knows! |

Here are
a few photos of the barge rope and the neon Sufix
Elite line that brought it in! |

Look
closely and you can see the chartreuse color of the line in both. For example, look at the difference in the
diameter of the Sufix line to the rope! |
|
|
|
Fact is,
while fishing the river on the bottom for flatheads. you can snag many times,
and since I have been using Sufix I have either
broke off the just the hook or brought in what I was snagged on, as opposed
to my line breaking almost every time when I tried that with the other
brands. I truly believe there is not a
stronger line on the market today then Sufix! |

Years of
fishing and lost lures, rigs, and fish should tempt you to try to find the
best line around…do yourself a favor, go buy at least one spool of Sufix and give it a try, I know you will be buying more! |

Hope to
see you out there…! |
